Amber’s absolute favorite hotel in the world is the Delano in South Beach, Miami. When she made reservations for me to take her to dinner there :) I was in awe of the sleek, clean modern lines. White, understated, minimal, tranquil are the things that we are both attracted to…we just thought that it only existed in South Beach. Spend a minute on the Belle Mer Newport website and you know instantly that this venue, located on Goat Island in Newport, Rhode Island is really special. Very few venues in New England stand out in the same way that Belle Mer does, because while timeless and elegant, Belle Mer epitomizes contemporary chic and modern glamour. To say the very least, we fell in love with this place.
Lucky for us, Kelly and Dan were the perfect couple to photograph for our first Belle Mer wedding, they were up for anything, had beautiful weather for early April, and a completely great group of family and friends to support them! We are sooo fortunate to be hitting up Belle Mer again in a little while but, for now, enjoy the awesomeness that are Kelly & Dan!
Top pics of the day. 2011 is all about raising the bar, right? So this image might be a top 5 favorite that we have EVER taken, and if they don’t want a canvas of this hanging in their living room – then we are just going to have to hang it up in ours. Kelly and Dan could not look more stunning in front of the sparkling Narragansett Bay backdrop at sunset which includes the Claiborne Pell Newport Bridge in the distance.
