Marina and Paul are one of those couples that became fast friends. Their wedding is over, and Marina and I still email daily, discuss the recent shoots on our blog…make plans for Bloody Mary brunches. You know, we just clicked! And after 3 shoots (boudoir, engagement and wedding day) plus a year long of wedding planning it is kinda hard not to become friends. This is our favorite-est scenario, and I know that we will be photographing Marina and Paul as they start their family in the years to come. Did I mention we have the BEST job in the freaking world? Thank you to Nicole Taylor for shooting this one at the totally rad Society Room with us!
We always start with our absolute EPIC shot of the day….starting with this one which Eric has officially claimed his favorite photo of any bride of all time (so far anyways…)

Marina & Paul WORKING it on the streets of Hartford!

OBVIOUSLY we had to rock the ridiculously awesome front doors to the Society Room!

Coolest photo ever from our homegirl Nicole Taylor!!

How ridiculously gorgeous does Marina look??!! Dana Bartone Salon did such an amazing job with her hair & make-up.

***** WARNING *****
KILLER Bridal Party shot! Eric was a little kid in a candy store at this wedding and he busts out with this Rad-ness. Who can guess how many frames???

Taxidermy is pretty cool. Taxidermy on your wedding day is even cooler.

YUMMY details! I had to create a diversion while Eric put Marina’s gorgeous bouquet in the blender. :) Outstanding floral design by Pam Hargraves of Blooming Blossoms in Providence, Rhode Island.

While Eric and I covered the girls getting ready Nicole headed upstairs to cover the guys.

How adorable is this little one?!

Gotta love first looks baby!

Time to get married – love the look on all the guys’ faces when they saw Marina coming down the aisle.

The most adorable thing ever during the ceremony….Paul grabs a tissue for Marina, licks it, and helps clean her make-up while she was crying. Cutest thing ever!!

This was our first time shooting at the Society Room and we absolutely loved it! It’s so different than the usual wedding venue and Marina did such a great job with her details!

We’ve really been trying to kick it up a few notches with our ring shots….can anyone guess how we did this? No photoshop jedi tricks were used!

Umm…yeah…more Society Room action….can’t get enough!

DJs from Mike Connolly Sound Productions totally ROCKED this wedding inside out. Check out their amazing lighting throughout the Society Room – total eye candy everywhere!

Go Marina….it’s your birthday…..we’re gonna party like it’s your birthday…..

We love you guys to death and looking forward to hanging out soon – ENJOY!

*me, my…oops!
Love the photos! I’m having me wedding at the Society Room next winter and can’t wait! Where are the ceremony photo’s from? We are looking for a place to have the ceremony and I love the pictures of yours!
I absolutely love that my postal letter carrier blogged on raw photo design.
Love Mary Lou.
Marina you were an awesome Bride and Paul a stunning Groom. Gus just takes the cake. Everything looked absoulately perfect. God Bless Marina and Paul and of course Gus to.
Your photos are amazing. I was wondering where the ceremony took place?
Absolutely stunning!! Every detail was perfection.
Oh my lordy!! Stunning work you guys!! Stunning.
nice wedding, man.
I’ve just looked at these for the 3rd time and have to say that between the before pics and the angles/lighting of the bridal party shots and then with the little detail photos you guys always absolutely NAIL – this is my favorite wedding blog thus far!! I love it! -AJ
Don’t know if Rhode Island is in your area of “operations” but I’m totally recommending your team to my friend getting married next May. Wonderful day that you all captured fabulously. Thanks!
Hot damn, this post gets me all excited like a fox in a hen house! Love the reception images and the girls on the stairs too!
These are very nice photos, great job.
AWWWWWWWW. Thanks Shannon! You were awesome. I’ll send the word to Dana with some kudos for you!
I want to tell you that I am an employee at The Society Room and Marina was the loveliest and hands down the nicest bride I have ever met. As an aspiring photographer and recently married bride I really look up to and am awed by the work you do. Congrats all around!
HOLY *&^% … absolutely AMAZZZZZZING!!! Raw TALENT …. Raw BEAUTY … love them all:-)
GORGEOUS!!! You guys totally blew it wayyyyyy out of the park! LOVE them all!!!
All the pics are GORG! But the pic of him wipping away the tears is incredible! How adorable and what a great shot!
Well, what can I say? These are stupendous! (And that’s from the Mother of the Bride) I’m overwhelmed by the artistry and technique shown by this team. The venues were full of opportunity for lush shots with lots of detail…but not as easy to capture as one might think. The photographic “eye” you demonstrated was discerning and effective…clearly you’re brimming with talent.
Marina and Paul wanted photography with flair and you certainly provided this. I can’t say which is my favorite…I keep going back and forth trying to pick one…can’t be done. (I find myself thinking the one where’s shes lifting her skirt would make a great Smirnoff ad and I mean that in the nicest possible way). I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of the shoot. Once again, kudos to you for pulling this off!
unlike anything i’ve ever seen.. unreal!
What amazing pics! Marina, by far, one of the most beautiful brides! These pics totally captured Marina and Paul! I had a blast at the wedding, so happy I was apart of your special day!
Nicely done Ashley – you guessed it!! It was technically a glass shelf but we’ll give it to yah ;)
My guess on the ring shot is a glass table with flash underneath pointing towards the wall. :)
wow wow wow!! incredible photos. gorgeous couple and what a fabulous venue!
can you feel butterflies in your stomach and the earth moving from me screaming like “OMGOMGOGMGOMG” at how awesome these photos are?
You guys put me on cloud nine.
serious work.
you 3 = amazing.
Stunning! The couple, the venue, the SHOES and of course the photographs! It’s going to be a great year for RAW….
