I absolutely love photographing weddings at the Wadsworth Mansion at Long Hill Estate in Middletown, Connecticut. Little known fact is when Amber and I were looking at reception venues for our own wedding, the Wadsworth Mansion was at the top of our list! You may remember the awesomeness that is Stefanie & Eric from their epic engagement session we photographed at Harkness Memorial Park in Waterford, CT. They did such an amazing job that day at Harkness we knew their wedding was going to be just as awesome!

My favorite time to shoot lately at a wedding has definitely been at night, and Stefanie & Eric were all about it!
We started the day photographing both Eric & Stefanie preparing for their wedding at the Inn at Middletown. They both got ready across the hall from each other at the Inn which was great for Amber and I because we were able to cover everyone by going back and forth between each room!
All of the staff at the Inn at Middletown was so accommodating and friendly by allowing us to place details like Stefanie’s wedding dress & shoes wherever we liked.
Stefanie looked absolutely incredible in the light pouring through the window in her room at the Inn.
We were so insanely excited when Stefanie & Eric told us they were interested in doing a “first look” before their ceremony on the day of their wedding. Unfortunately the weather didn’t hold up for taking photos outside that early but luckily the Wadsworth Mansion is such a great venue that finding an awesome location for their first look was easy!
This is one of my favorite first look series of photos from any wedding, ever! As I was with Eric, waiting for Stefanie and Amber to come meet us…
…Amber grabbed this amazing shot of Stefanie as she peeked out from the bridal suite and gazed down the hallway to catch a glimpse of Eric – love it!

Their wedding ceremony in the Wadsworth Mansion ballroom was absolutely beautiful – here is Stefanie coming down the aisle with her dad to meet Eric.
