One of the best parts of being a wedding photographer is getting to work with couples that are willing to take a few risks, be themselves, and allow me to be creative.  Jill and Nick are one of those couples, they really appreciate photography and gave me the freedom to capture the spirit of their relationship and the feeling of their wedding yesterday.  You guys were such an excellent couple to work with, and I loved being a part of your day yesterday…enjoy the sneak peak of your pictures.

 I spotted a dark, secluded, storage shed as we were finishing up their portraits and thought it would be fun to sneak the couple in to be alone for a little while.  And a little backlight action thanks to the videographer during their first dance.

There were some serious pros on the dance floor that night.

….and this is what happens!  I made the fatal mistake of leaving my rugrats alone for 5 minutes the other day.  Ryder opened the pantry and decided to dump out a box of powdered sugar.  The funny part was they had no idea it was sugar until I told them….and then they proceeded to lick it off the kitchen floor.  Those pictures grossed me out too much to even post here…. 

Hello beautiful people.  Just wanted to share some pics of Kevin & Meredith’s engagement album that came in over the weekend.  They went with a 10 x 10 asuka book and it came out gorgeous.  Engagement sessions are my favorite type of shoots with couples and they are such agreat way for everyone to get to know each other before the actual wedding.  And what better way to celebrate an engagement than with an album?!
