It’s no secret that people like to get married when it’s warm. Being a wedding photographer in Connecticut means a lot of cold months during the winter….so…..no weddings for me. Until couples start flying me around the world to document their destination weddings (a man can dream, can’t he?) there’s going to be an offseason for me. So, to keep people interested in this blog I’m going to have a series of posts related to the work I do in the offseason. I’ll also post some shoots I did before I started this blog. So….keep visiting!
Volume 1 of the offseason is a cool little studio shoot I did for a singer/song-writer duo named “Ashes of Draught.” They’re currently finishing up their new album and I was lucky enough to hear some pre-release tracks…..it’s incredible. I’ll keep you guys updated on the release date. In the meantime, here are some pics.

Some detail shots of JC’s sweet studio in Mahopac, NY:

Surprisingly, recording an album is painstaking work. They worked on one verse the whole 3 hours I was there.
That’s it for now. Cheers.
