colleen & scott. an elm city love story.

This couple rocked and were every photographer’s dream come true. They asked for lots of artsy shots when they booked their session which, of course, brought us to the beautiful Elm City. As usual, I went nuts with the textures. Their slide show came out awesome especially since there’s music from my homeys – Draught.

The couple was unaware of the superhero mind-reading abilities of my 5D.

Decisions, decisions…

Click on the picture below to check out their slide show and make sure you crank that volume up to hear “Pale Yellow Dress” by Draught.

trash the dress!

We recently had a little trash the dress session in which I shot with the koolest kat in the world – Megan LaBarbera of Creative Image Collections. Our lovely model Amber had a lot of fun trashing her dress but not as much fun as Megan and I had taking pictures! These are just a few that I’ve already worked on but there will be a lot more to come, including a slide show of the whole day so be sure to check back often. Leave lots of comments and let us know what you think of all the pictures.

I also have an assignment for you guys too. What do you think would be the perfect song for dress trashing slide show?

First we started at a great spot near an old hydroelectric plant (lots of rusty pipelines!)

Poor Megan dropped her 28mm prime lens off this pipeline. But I saved the day by risking my life saving it (even though it was a Nikon).

This was our second location. Time for some super-played-out “Bride in the Flowery Field” pictures.

Then it was time for the real trashing to begin. We headed for the swamp or as I like to call it, the lagoon.

This water was as disgusting as it gets. It was freezing cold and it smelled like an outhouse…but Amber handled it like a champ.

She even went underwater for some hair flipping shots!
