Wedding at Highlands Country Club in Garrison, NY | Andrea & Kyle
Who can honestly say they would keep a smile going all day long on their wedding day with some MAJOR unexpected circumstances?
I don’t think there is a single couple on this planet that comes close to the grace and style of Andrea and Kyle.
Here’s why:
1. They had one of the largest, most unexpected snow storms on their Fall wedding day. It was so early in the season that not one department of transportation in the entire Northeast was even close to being prepared to manage the roads, snow removal, or the number of trees down.
2. They had no power (aka electricity) at their reception.
Did that hold them down?
No.
Did that hold us back?
Oh, Heck No.

This might actually have been the most challenging, yet most beautifully captured weddings that I have ever seen. Major props to Eric and Dorian who faced this storm head on, rocked candlelight like I have never seen before, and brought a seriously stunning wedding portfolio to these two amazing people.

A bride that isn’t afraid to go big with a glamorous, statement necklace (like Andrea’s below) is my hero. I have to say her complete look is one that I will remember for years to come, and that only happens to me once or twice after shooting an entire wedding season.

Andrea & Kyle’s wedding details.

Happy times always with a first look.

Our storm trooper, Dorian testing light with Eric.

Before Eric was able to get the generator going with the DJ, the lack of power meant lack of music. Andrea & Kyle’s very romantic, candlelit first dance via Macbook held up by the DJ. And they are still laughing…

Cheers guys! We absolutely loved being a part of your day and braving the storm with you.

Thanks to Dorian Patrick for second shooting!
