We held our first (and definitely not last) ever boudoir marathon this past weekend in Woodbury, Connecticut and it was a HUGE success! Huge props go out to our lovely ladies that did an absolutely amazing job in front of the camera. Lindsey Gallagher rocked the make-up on Saturday and Stacey Palancia of Blush Couture did an amazing job with the make-up on Sunday.

We’ve already had a bunch of inquiries for our next marathon which we’ll likely be scheduling for some time in January. Stay tuned for more announcements coming soon!

Cassie & Max had a gorgeous sunrise ceremony at the Owenego Inn in Branford, Connecticut. Sunrise wedding was definitely a first for me but the light and view was absolutely breathtaking. After the ceremony we went for a super-cool tour of the Thimble Islands and then it was an awesome reception at the Pine Orchard Country Club in Branford, CT. Prepare yourself to see more of these two because we have a day (actually…months) after session coming soon!

The president of the Pine Orchard had the HUGEST rubber band ball I’ve ever seen. Seriously, I couldn’t even lift the thing…..must be chasing that Guiness book record or something….

If you have not been…you gotta go. Disney World is for the novice, Sesame Place is for the Hard Core. If you have little ones like us — you will appreciate that every ride at this place does not have height restrictions! The characters are larger than life, literally for Ryder which you can see how much he loved OSCAR below. You gotta love the internet, right? I’ve had the opportunity to book a number of out of town couples this year through email and my blog. Jacquie and Mark happen to be one of those couples - they’re both in St. Petersburg right now, on the edge of their seats (I’m assuming) anxiously awaiting their engagement slideshow! They met in St. Petersburg when Jaccquie moved there a while back to pursue her dreams in Marine Biology. I couldn’t be more excited to cover their awesome wedding in October at Hopkins Vineyard.

I had the best time hanging out with Dawn and Steve and their two kiddies - Buster and Sophie at West Haven Beach. Seriously, after hanging out with them I was seriously thinking….”we should get a dog.” And then I remembered we can barely handle our two kids….let alone adding a dog to the mix! Dawn and Steve’s wedding is right around the corner so you’ll be seeing a lot more of them real soon!

Katelin & Bevan were the coolest and calmest couple I’ve yet to work with. Their venue location changed from the Boathouse in Hartford to the Keeney Memorial Museum in Wethersfield at the last second due to flooding on the Connecticut River and everything was handled in stride and grace. I told Katelin that this was the least stressful wedding day I’ve seen in a long time and she almost fell over laughing because she thought she was so stressed!! I absolutely loved working with you guys and enjoy your sneak peak!

I’m off to Lancaster with my good friend Danielle in T-minus 5 hours for the one and only veryAltF workshop. To say I’m excited would be an understatement. John Michael Cooper is my hero….he is by far the most inspiring photographer in the wedding business (to me anyways). I’m totally going to get him to sign my boob.

Jackie and Drew did such an AWESOME job during their engagement session in Essex. We beat the heat, the duck poop, the sweat, and the oncoming traffic for some pretty sweet photos. It was my first time hanging out in Essex and I fell in love…what a cool town!

Danielle invited me along to photograph a trash the dress session she had scheduled with a client of hers a few weeks ago. I couldn’t make it until the end of the shoot so I got a whole 30 minutes with the very photogenic, very brave, and “awesome swimmer with soaking wet bridal gown of the year award” winner, Miss Rebecca. I had an absolute blast and here are my faves from the short time we had together - enjoy!
