Stamford Yacht Club Wedding in Stamford, CT | Kerri-Lynn & Patrick
It’s hard to say what I loved most about working with Kerri-Lynn and Patrick….was it their ridiculously awesome family….their super-fun-laid-back attitude…or was it their totally kick-a** wedding? I’d say all of the above for sure!
One thing that always amazes me about every wedding I get to be a part of is how different each family dynamic is from week to week. One thing is for sure and that is family….and not to mention totally awesome friends….is super important to both Kerri-Lynn and Patrick. We couldn’t agree more and were so honored to be a part of such an amazingly important day for both families. Let’s say we cut to the chase and show some photos…deal? Deal!
We gotta start with some of my absolute favorites from the whole day and then we’ll talk more about the details…

Want to make a group of tough guys in kilts REALLY happy? Show them a picture like this in the back of your camera!! Think I might get this on canvas for my own living room…

A list of all the people that make our job one million times easier – thanks to everyone!
Make-up: Leslie Stoeffler Atiles | Hair: Malexi | Dress & Gown Boutique: Custom designed by Katerina Bocci | Shoes: Jimmy Choo | Jewelry: Bride’s and bridesmaids’ jewelry designed by Kerri-Lynn which was custom made by Kim Simmons | Ceremony: St. Pius X in Fairfield, CT | Reception: Stamford Yacht Club| Band: Jerry Kravitz
Leslie did a great job with make-up, it was awesome getting to work with her.

Thanks to Joanne Vandal for second shooting – here are some shots of Patrick getting ready while I was at Kerri-Lynn’s parents’ house in Fairfield covering the girls getting ready.

Patrick did an awesome job making all the guys in the room feel a bit inadequate with Kerri-Lynn’s amazing gift…

A little story about a truck: The summer before the wedding Kerri-Lynn had mentioned to Patrick that she had always wanted to drive to her wedding in an old red truck, which I’m sure she mentioned in passing not thinking much of it. But being the smooth operator that he is, Patrick told Kerri-Lynn’s parent’s all about the truck and Kerri-Lynn’s mom searched high and low to get her the best red truck she can find. Here is a shot of Kerri-Lynn coming down the stairs and seeing the red truck for the first time and her dad’s reaction, all at once. It was an awesome moment to be a part of.

Kerri-Lynn’s dad had arranged for an Irish Band to lead Kerri-Lynn and Patrick into their cocktail hour – I couldn’t get enough of these guys!

Joanne’s got the kids covered!

Kerri-Lynn had said to me before the wedding that no matter what happens, if we happen to see any butterflies at her wedding…we HAVE to get a picture. THe butterflies in her and the bridesmaids’ bouquets represented her niece Delaney who had passed away. Whenever someone in her family sees a butterfly they all believe it is Delaney passing by and reminding them that she’s ok. Of course…both Joanne and I were on the look-out and to our surprise we did see butterflies throughout the day, it was amazing!

Is that a bright blue sky in full sun at 1pm in the afternoon? Why yes it is!

The Stamford Yacht Club looked ridiculously awesome…duh.

Patrick and Kerri-Lynn’s first dance as well as their parent dances pretty much brought the whole room to tears…

I tell you what…I’ve NEVER seen anyone Do the Dougie like this guy right here. Chris Brown eat your heart out. And take note fellas because I’m pretty sure while you’re hanging out at the bar all the girls are hanging out with this guy…

My main man and lighting assistant extraordinaire Robert O’Brien covered the reception at the Stamford Yacht Club with me and most of these killer reception shots are his – including the one through the door window – killed it!

Enjoy your new life together!!
